  1. I have a peeling gel 10% glycoolic acid… how about red light therapy ?? Do i use red light therapy before or after ? I use that gel only on sunday. I have very sensitive acne prone skin..

  2. Hi doc! My derm put me on Doxycycline for rosacea. I don’t get a lot of redness, mostly pustules. The Doxy works, but in my 60’s, I don’t want to be taking an antibiotic for the rest of my life. Can you recommend a topical regimen to combat rosacea?? Thx!

  3. Could you please do a video on the effects of exfoliating, retinol, Vitamin A, etc. on rosacea? Thanks in advance

  4. When I was in my younger years 90”s-early 2000’s matte makeup was all the rave. But I had a friend who did makeup for Chanel and she would say “ NO powder”. And this was in late 90’s. She never used powder on her face. But I used to think “yuck” it looks oily. How she was ahead of her time. God bless her soul! (she passed last year)

  5. I purchased your Trifecta and am seeing great results. I don’t need as much botox because the fine lines aren’t as noticeable . I love the Trifecta!!

  6. I remember Suzanne Somers used to say an old rough washcloth was her choice for exfoliating her skin.

  7. Doctor thank you so much, just turned 57 and realize that I need to do a exfoliation on a regular basis and I just purchased the line the ordinary. Just saw your video , now you told me to go apply hyaluronic acid. Thank you and I look forward to further content

  8. The enzymatic peel turned me off. I used the OZ enzymatic peel and it messed up my skin barrier. How does your product Polish compare? I use your Trifecta and Love it!!!!

  9. I’m 27; i’m actually turning 28 this week, and I started cleansing and exfoliating about 6 months ago. Prior to this I only ever rinsed my face with water. Right! this it H2O. The reason i did this was because i have always had clear skin. Now, since starting a skin care routine, i have been getting blemishes and my skin feels rough and bumpy. Wish i watched this 6 months ago. 🤷🏻‍♀️😁

  10. Another amazing, informative video!
With rosacea prone skin, some derms say lactic acid or pha, others suggest glycolyc at low percentage and absolutely no tretinoin, but I read that actually they can help…
I would love a video on rosacea about skincare, antiaging actives and the treatments available in office like lasers because there are so many conflicting info about this skintype and we need your expertise 🙌

  11. Hi Dr.!
I really appreciate all of your videos. Do you have an opinion on home microdermabrasion machines? If so, any recommendations?
I use .025 retin-a a few nights a week and am looking for something to get rid of some dullness and congestion near jawline and forehead. I do not like physical exfoliating products. They don’t seem to do much at all.
    Thank you!

  12. I wonder what do you think about Furtuna Skin Triple Active Exfoliator? Many people with sensitive skin have positive reviews about it, but would be great to hear opinion from an expert.

  13. This video is all of that and a bag of chips. I’m an Aesthetician of 6 years here in Atlanta, and I work for a plastic surgeon as well. I’ve been into skincare for the past 16+ years, and it’s nice to hear a Dr educate his audience on this level, because a lot of Dr’s don’t understand skincare. I agree w everything you said 1000%, and it’s the exact way I educate my clients. Simple is always best and exfoliation is critical for healthy, hydrated and glowing skin. Your line seems nothing short of amazing!!!!! ❤❤❤❤

  14. Wow, how ridiculous, you have to pay $1,000 for a FaceTime consult? What kind of doctor is this that does not do in person consultations and then after surgery does not see patients he operated on. This is just like Dr.. Paolo Macchiarini surgeries. Doing a dodgy job and not facing the patients that paid a lot of money. Shame on this doctor. He is doing these YouTube videos to gain people’s confidence, but my dear you can’t hide from dodgy work and nasty human treatment.

  15. The most logical, effective explanation, just straight and clear. Hope I can succeed on exfoliation🥰 Love it! Subscribe now! Thank you so much Dr. Karam ❤

  16. Please don’t use any kind of microbeads as they are dreadful for the environment as they are microplastics and end up in the ocean, the fish and then us….
I once heard a doctor say that the best way to exfoliate is straight after a hot shower or bath with a freshly laundered towel with small and gentle circular movements.
All of these chemicals can’t be good for us.

  17. Skin School is one of my favorite classes. Thank you so much Dr. Karam for this video on exfoliation and how often we should do this to our skin. I hear so much about the skin barrier. Now I understand what I can do myself to take good care of my skin and not harm my skin barrier. How often I should exfoliate and how long to do this and not rub too hard. Thank God, I’ve never had a skin problem on my face. Thank you for a very excellient video.

  18. Fraxel laser and CO2/ laser did wonders for my skin. Shrank pores and made skin smoother and tighter.

  19. At 53- Derma-planing once a week, lactic acid 10%every morning, Paula’s choice-2% BHA Liquid exfoliant -once a week – over night. Is that a good start? How can I advance it?

  20. I had very dull skin then I started exfoliating and it literally transformed my skin and it’s now glowing and smooth

  21. Thanks Dr. Karam. I was a little rough with the polish. Love it though. My skin is soooo smooth and bright afterwards. I polish 2x weekly.

  22. I am getting treatment done and was told to stop exfoliating because my skin needs to heal? What’s your take on it

  23. I learn so much from you, Dr. Karam, and my skin is looking so beautiful! I don’t even wear makeup anymore

  24. Bought some of your Polish after watching this…! I mix my own actives and like my other skin care for now…but just love your channel…learn so much and am just really a skin care geek…so very excited to use my Polish…thanks…your videos helped me tremenously as well before and after my facelift, fat transfer, etc I had last summer…Thank you for sharing your passion and knowledge.

  25. Hello I am having issues with rough skin on my left knee. I have tried different lotions and nothing seems to help. What do you suggest I try to help smooth the skin. Thanks

  26. Thank you Dr. A. Karam for this very valid information. I didn’t know that I have to wash my face first then exfoliate..I wash and exfoliate the same time. Your akin care tutorial lessons really helpful & beneficial..Thank you, much appreciated.

  27. I love so much this videos. It is super detailed and easy to understand. I decided to finish my products what I have and I could finally understand how to make a daily rutine. Thank you Dr. Karam <3

  28. May sound strange but im 35 and i have quite alot of congestion. i use just sugar alone with a little water to gently exfoliate my face and its perfect. My boss gave me the idea and its magic. And safe no crazy ingredients and cheap as chips. Obviously i serum and moisturise after.
