What an excellent piece of wisdom from around 3:50. Its is sooo true that the younger generation notices the aging process early. I am 63. retired. Never really examine or looked at my face in detail for quite a while, more so in the last 3 years ,because that wasn’t my focus. I was just concentrating on good healthy living, until suddenly, a few months ago, BAM! i feel i looked 10 years older than what i was expecting. I lost a substantial amount of weight and my mother kept telling about how drawn down my face looked and i didnt notice all the wrinkles on my face, which I am sure wasnt there before, that i developed from the weight loss. It was a very very distressing awakening! So yes, if we are not vain about our looks, we do not notice. We go through different phases in our lives and different things become our focus, I guess that is what happened with me, now, my focus is a bit look oriented.

As a vegan Woman that experienced all the effects of menopause including severe loss of collagen from one day to the other, were the skin got flacid and wrinkled equal to a 80 year old person, I suplemented with vegan aminoacids to support collagen production and the reality is, it worked!! You’re wrong. Collagen works very well. But most supplements are like $1 or maybe $3 for 15g. It’s a ripoff. Just take beef gelatin, it’s 25 cents for 15g. It gives your body all the building blocks to create lots of different types of collagen.
