Fitness and beauty can be one and the same. Being fit and healthy will automatically make you look better. A health inside creates a healthy outside.

Fitness through exercise can help you to maintain a healthy body weight and improve muscle tone. Exercise can also help to increase your self esteem and confidence which can lead you to take more pride and care in your appearance. In this way, fitness and beauty are linked.

Almost everyone says that getting regular exercise just doesn't fit into their busy schedule, but it can be as easy as taking a 20 to 30 minute walk each day. This can be accomplished by walking to work or taking a stroll at lunch with friends.

Many women don't achieve their fitness goals because they are intimidated by going to the gym. Some women overcome this by going to women only gyms. They feel that this is a more comfortable atmosphere where they are not as worried about being watched. You don't even really need to go to the gym at all to achieve your fitness goals. You can use workout tapes at home or go for walks each day.

When you are trying to become more fit and healthy, it's important not to get wrapped up in other peoples standards. You are your own worst critic already and listening to what others think you should look like will only bring you down. The most important thing is to be healthy. Beauty will follow.
